Who Are We?
The original Wooster's Garage opened shop during the 1920's in Rockford, Michigan by Charles Wooster. Little did he know that generations down the line would carry on the family name. Glen Wooster who was Charles's son, followed in his footsteps and worked in the automotive industry as well. Glen had a son Dan, who was an automotive Instructor at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, WI. Stephanie Lopez is Dan's granddaughter and the owner of Woosters Garage. She has shared the love of the Automotive Industry since she was a little girl and is now carrying on a 5 generation legacy.
A concern we hear often is that many businesses are quick to take advantage of a customer and would either take shortcuts on repairs or do repairs that weren't necessary.
As a team, our goal is to break those barriers between the technician and customer. We strive to be part of the solution. Our shop reflects my ideal vision of the automotive industry. Bridging gaps between the industry and consumers, making the consumer feel more comfortable about what they are investing in and driving on a daily basis. We believe the customer needs to walk out of our business feeling confident in what was wrong and how it was fixed.

Meet The Owner
As an automotive enthusiast, Stephanie has always had a huge passion for the automotive industry. She joined the small list of women automotive repair shop owners in 2017 by opening her own; Wooster's Garage in Weston, Wisconsin.
Growing up in an automotive family, she was always intrigued with everything from racing to building vehicles but it wasn't until high school that she began expanding her knowledge in the field by taking the high school classes offered. After high school, she fast-tracked her career with different experiences in the industry. From managing at a parts store to detailing vehicles, working in vehicle sales and service experiences, she has worked in every position she could find available.
In 2012 she decided to pursue her associate's degree in Automotive Technology at North Central Technical College. With years of experience in the field, a college degree and additional certifications she continued to work and learn more about what customers are looking for, what positive changes she could make and how to really bridge the gap between consumers and automotive industry.
Stephanie focuses her garage's attention on educating consumers about their vehicles while striving to offer exceptional service to every customer, every time. She provides monthly auto clinics focusing on different topics to help consumers better understand their vehicles. Currently, Stephanie is focusing not only on her business but also writing a book for consumers relating to the auto clinics. She is guest speaking at events across the country about women working in male-dominated fields and also her motivation to improve the automotive industry relationships with consumers.
